Lately, I can’t remember what it feels like to be genuinely awake. I’m tired. All…the…time…
Today it was to the point that I just took a long nap. No point in fighting it any more. I’d like to say it’s because I’m so busy. We are busy, but I still manage to get a full night’s sleep every night. No staying up till 3:00am and trying to function. In fact, with summer, we’re sleeping in more. Can sleeping in make you even more tired?
Yes, I do exercise. Not nearly enough, but at least a couple hours a week. I do sit way too much on my keister – but, without energy, it’s hard to have motivation to do much else.
I just wish for energy. Not energy in a bottle or caffeinated pill, but real, honest to goodness energy.
So, ladies, I see you out there jogging, power shopping, playing with toddlers – what is your secret?
I would like to know their secret too!

Hi following you through the Crew. Please stop by blog to follow me. I've discovered that processed carbs really make me tired-- especially if I have something like a sandwich for lunch. No bread, no falling asleep while reading aloud.
ReplyDeleteHope you have gotten some rest! It really doesn't make sense, when we have teenagers, we're tired~we need energy to make sure they survive and pick them up at work, lol. Thank God my husband will stay up when the boys work late--I'm too tired! Oh, well. the exercise will help. I also cut out coffee after 3 pm this past year:)
