Here’s the update. Things are getting done at a much slower pace than I had hoped, but I’m getting there. I’m a list person – aren’t all OCD people list people? So, here’s my list. Since I published it, I’ll be even more OCD about getting it done. “Our type” never fall short on a list other people know about… That would be, well, yikes, I hate to think what that would do to the psyche…
On the DONE list, I have:
New paintings (Garden Ridge had a half off sale – woot!)
New tablecloth – used an old one, but may still talk myself into a new one (thus only sorta done)
Base molding painting touched up
Trim dusted and the walls scrubbed down
On the To-Do list, I STILL have:
Valences must be redone - study and dining room (hopefully fabric shopping tonight)
Decorative pillows for the new couches that coordinate (see above fabric shopping)
Wood floors need a good scrubbing and polishing
Give away remaining furniture in living room (this goes on the stop raining list too as some of it is claimed and just needs to be transported in dry conditions)
On the To-Do list if it would just stop raining, I STILL have:
Windows cleaned
Accessories around the living room and dining room really need to be devoid of gold (spray paint acquired)
HUGE picture needs to move into the living room as well. More spray paint for the frame (see above)
Added to the To-Do list:
Caulk crown molding in kitchen and dining room (back to Lowe’s for caulk – wishing I thought of this when buying spray paint!)
Wow, you're making ME tired, hee hee! Happy redecorating!! I've nominated you for the Stylish Blogger Award http://broadhorizonsschool.blogspot.com/2011/02/stylish-blogs.html
ReplyDeleteOk, April, you've done it now! I'm rather OCD too, and now I feel like I need to make a list of all the work that needs to be done around here so I can check off my list. :P Only I'm afraid I won't ever get it all checked off, so I'm avoiding making the list. I'll let you know if I get brave enough to do it!
