Five Question Friday
One more week of homeschooling and it's Christmas break! Hard to believe - it is coming SO fast. I do wish we had a little snow to enjoy it by...
Join me in a little Five Question Friday? When you are done visit the My Little Life blog to see what others had to say.
1. Do you open presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?
We’re a blended family. For the past 15 years, we’ve had to switch off between having my oldest two Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Believe me – it’s no fun. Fortunately, Santa has such a good heart that, while untelevised, he makes two trips each year so families like ours that have to celebrate early can still have a wonderful “Christmas” morning.
2. What is your favorite Christmas cookie (or candy)?
It would have to be snowballs. Those little ball cookies with pecans in them and covered in powdered sugar. My mother had the most amazing recipe for these. I use it every year making an extra batch for the hubby to take to work.
3. What's the worst Christmas gift you've ever received?
My grandmother, one year, sent me this jar with a makeshift snowball snowman head. It was atrocious. Inside of it was hotel shampoos and such. While I adore my grandma, that was quite the unusual gift.
4. Christmas song that you love?
I think Ring the Bells, done right, is the most beautiful song ever.
5. How many trees do you put up?
One. We have put up two, but my daughter took the tree that normally goes in the dormer off to college so that she could have some Christmas cheer during finals.

Haha! Your worst Christmas gift is similar to mine. Mine also involves a random body part of a seasonal character.
