Labor Day weekend found us representing our TKD group in the local parade. It was actually a lot of fun! I got to carry the banner along with another person, youngest was in line doing demonstrations, and even Ben with his broken foot was a good sport and rode on the float waving.
my son takes karate and he has a cast on his arm. lol Gotta love mishaps. :)
ReplyDeleteTKD is the best. looks like it was fun...did you son walk or did they let him ride on the float?
ReplyDeleteMy son and daughter both participated in it. My daughter actually got to go to Venezuela for a competition and was asked to perform for their nations President! TKD offers so many good opportunities for adults and kids!
Looks like you had beautiful weather for your parade!
ReplyDelete@Dina - yep, gotta love them. I've torn my calf muscle in the past doing it as well, but it's SO much fun.
ReplyDelete@Becky - that sounds awesome! We'd love to travel and do it!
Wow - that Ben of yours is a trooper. How long was the parade? Did he walk the entire time. IF so, I am thoroughly impressed. Looks like you all had fun!
ReplyDeleteGlad to have found you thru Vboks WW
